Provenzale is a native variety of Alta Daunia that is found only in the district of the municipality of Serracapriola. Its history begins in Puglia in the Middle Ages thanks to the descendants of Charlemagne, who introduced it to our territory in the mid-1700s. Thanks to a particular microclimate due to the hilly position and the sea breeze that caresses the centuries-old olive trees, our extra virgin olive oil is truly unique, very rich in organoleptic and nutritional properties.
Provenzale oil is obtained from olives harvested intact and pressed within 4 hours to preserve all their natural qualities and this leads to an excellent result. The oil is intensely fruity with hints of tomato, arugula, apple, and almond; leaving the right balance between bitter and spicy in the mouth.
