Peranzana high quality extra virgin olive oil is a pure cultivar of a single olive variety. Grown in the beautiful rolling hills of Italy's Sarracapriola in Apulia, the Peranzana cultivar produces a creamy, medium-high fruity oil. It has a distinctive floral note in regards to aroma with an elegant balance of almond and artichoke. The Peranzana olive is highly prized for its high concentration of Oleic and linoleic acid.
The nose evokes notes of apple, banana and almond. Intensely spicy on the palate with a distinctively bitter finish. Particularly suitable as a condiment for red meat dishes, complimenting cheeses, and legumes.
